The team

The directorate and UK support team
The directorate provides overall leadership, coordination and strategic guidance, and report directly to DFID.
Central Research Team (CRT)
RIU's Central Research Team (CRT) has overall responsibility for designing and implementing the research. The LINK programme of the United Nations University Maastricht Economic and Social Research and training centre on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) lead the CRT work.
Research Fellows
Research Fellows undertake documentation and analysis of the learning under the guidance of the CRT.

Africa and Asia hosts for learning programme
Communications team
The communications team serves RIU's internal and external audiences, through the website, RIUtv and radio, media coverage, publications and events.
RIU Programmes
The Africa Country Programmes are a series of experiments about putting research into use in different sectors and contexts.

Commissioned work
RIU has developed flexible funding programmes so that it can invest in work which shows promise.
Advisors and consultants
When required, carefully selected advisors and consultants have been and will continue to be recruited to complement and extend RIU's in-house expertise, skills, knowledge, contacts and experience.
