Biography
Andy Frost
RIU Deputy Director

Andy Frost has been involved with the programme since inception in 2006. Andy works with Ian Maudlin in defining the RIU strategy and leads on the day to day affairs and financial aspects of the programme’s management. Prior to this Andy was involved in the management of a number of the DFID RNRRS programmes (1990 – 2006) most notably on the Livestock production Research Programme. As an experienced Team Leader of donor funded initiatives in Nigeria, Ukraine and in the SADC region, Andy has worked in over 25 developing countries.

BSc (Hons) Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne
PhD in ruminant nutrition from the Rowett Research Institute
MBA from Henley Management College
