Dennis Mbangula

Dennis facilitates all key activities with the platform and community. He helps to ensure that stakeholders have the capacity to innovate in line with the project goals. He extends the platforms networks and share information with other stakeholders, helping to identify how the platform learning should inform regional and national policy.
Dennis has previously been involved in a number of development programmes that focus on small enterprises in rural areas. His major focus areas include technology transfer and commercialization of proven technologies from research institutions and universities. He also has experience in appraising business plans and analysing markets and market potential to ensure profitability of businesses. He has established links between SMEs and other institutions and established a number of public private partnership projects.
He previously worked in manufacturing and construction industries as a plant maintenance engineer and has worked with the National Insurance Company and the Small Industries Development Organisation (SIDO).
Education
MBA from The Open University of Tanzania. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam
