Research fellows

The Central Research Team has recruited a team of research fellows with a diverse and complementary range of specialisms, who will help RIU to capture the learning:



Ann Kingiri
Anna will be supporting the Africa Country Programmes in Rwanda and Tanzania. She will also be publishing papers which are looking at innovation and gender, and developments in the biotechnology sector such as genetically modified organisms.

Elias Madzudzo
Elias will be supporting the Africa Country Programmes in Malawi and Zambia. He will be publishing papers on innovation brokerage and the work of FIPS-Africa.

Utiang will be working with the Africa Country Programmes in Nigeria and Sierra Leone. He will be publishing papers on legumes storage, building the agriculture sector capacity through innovation and a case study of PAID.

TS Vamsidhar Reddy
Vamsi will support the Asia Programme. He will publish papers on opportunity-led development drawing on the Asia portfolio.

Andrew will be working with the RIU Best Bets, supporting Norman Clark, RIU's senior advisor, to ensure that the learning from these private sector-led initiatives is captured.
