Dr Henry Wainwright
On Gro-Plus trails and commercialisation

Henry Wainwright of Real IPM explains the process of moving from the Gro-Plus trail (with 50,000 farmers in Western Kenya) to the commercialisation of the product ready for the next rainy season in November 2011.

Henry also explains how Gro-Plus works (seeds are primed and then the next day the farmer applies a seed dressing of fertiliser). And the logistics of signing up and then delivering registration packs to 50,000 trial participants.
