Vet training in SOS -Uganda

Prof John David Kibasa, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Makerere University in Uganda, explains how the university curriculum has been changed. The new curriculum aims to teach young vets entrepreneurial skills as they prepare to operate in their communities. Supported by Research Into Use, the project aims to set up a network of community vets who will take part in a programme to fight the spread of sleeping sickness.
