Armyworm - report from Tanzania

RIUtv correspondent, Nik Wood, sees real progress in the RIU-backed projects to forecast the arrival of the caterpillars that devastate crops in sub-Saharan Africa and to eradicate them using a natural biological agent.
In Tanzania, community-based forecasters are accurately predicting outbreaks - community forecasters and farmers Lucy and Elibaki Mbasha explain how the forecasting works. There is film of the training in action. Mohamed Moya - Permanent Secretary Agriculture, Tanzania backs the approach.
Finally Wilfred Muchobozi of Eco Agri Consultancy talks about producing the bio-pesticide to tackle armyworm and Gaspar Mallya, national armyworm coordinator talks about the role of the private sector.
