Weevil infestation is a major problem faced by cowpea farmers and marketers across Africa. RIU Nigeria facilitated a multi-agency collaboration to advocate triple bagging technology to 1200 communities. As 600,000 more farmers adopt triple bagging for safe cowpea storage, this video - produced by RIU's Nigerian team - highlights the benefits of a triple bagging programme as an alternative to the use of chemicals to preserve cowpeas from infestation.
